Privacy Notice

This states what this site collects, why, who else sees it, how long it is kept, and how to make it go away.

What is collected

A name and a password, to give you an account. The password is never stored as typed, and the operator cannot read it back.

A date of birth. It is collected for exactly one reason: to confirm you meet this site's age requirement. It is not used for anything else, and an admin can only correct it, never read it out to a third party.

An email address or phone number. You provide at least one when you register. It is used to deliver a short-lived password-reset code and is not shown publicly. The selected delivery provider receives the destination and reset message only when you request recovery.

Transcripts of what you play. Every playthrough is recorded: the whole message sent to the model, and the whole reply, turn by turn. That record contains what you actually wrote — including anything you typed into a character's name, appearance, or notes — and what the model wrote back. It serves two purposes: so "why did the story do that" has an answer once the moment has passed, and so the operator can troubleshoot and improve the service.

Some technical information about your connection. To help trace abuse or investigate an anomaly after the fact, this site may keep the network origin of the request that started a playthrough alongside that playthrough's own record, for as long as that record is kept. Recognising a guest profile relies on similar technical information, but only ever in a form that cannot be reversed back into the original values, and it is not used to track you anywhere beyond this site.

Payment records. An order's amount, its currency, its status, and the payment rail's own reference are kept so your balance can be reconciled and so a receipt can be produced. This site does not see or store your wallet's private keys or any payment credential — the payment rail handles those.

Who else sees it

The model provider your prompt is sent to. Playing a turn means your message — and the context around it — leaves this site and is sent to whichever model provider is configured, to generate the reply. That is unavoidable: the model does not usually run on this site directly. That provider only acts as a data processor for that one exchange, under its own terms, and is not otherwise a party to your relationship with this site. What it does with your message once it has been sent — how it processes, stores, or otherwise uses it — is governed by its own terms and policies, outside this site's control. That is also why you should not put real personal or sensitive information into what you write; see the Terms of Service. Depending on how a particular deployment is set up, the model may in some cases run entirely locally, in which case nothing leaves this site at all.

The payment channel your top-up passes through, to move and confirm the payment. It only sees what is relevant to that payment, not your playthroughs, and never your account details.

Nobody else. This site does not sell data. Your registration details, transcripts, and account data are not provided to any third party beyond the two categories above.

How long it is kept

Transcripts are kept for a window set by the operator, and cleared once it passes; if the operator chooses to keep some records for longer, that stays within the purposes stated above.

Payment and ledger records are kept for as long as the account exists, and survive an account's deletion in de-identified form — see below — because they are also the record that lets the operator prove the books balance.

Deleting a playthrough

Each playthrough has a delete control in your history. Deleting one removes its saved state and its transcript from this site; it does not touch your account or any other playthrough.

Deleting your account

Your account has a delete control that asks for your password again, since this cannot be undone by an open tab you forgot about. Deleting an account removes the account row, every playthrough it owns, and every transcript for those playthroughs. What survives, deliberately, is the payment and ledger history behind an opaque marker that carries no name, no password, and no date of birth, email address, or phone number — so the operator's books still balance to the money that moved, without balancing to anything that identifies you.
